Hyderabad drug racket: Actress Charmme Kaur approaches High Court

In a fresh development in the drug racket case, actress Charmme Kaur approached the Hyderabad High Court on Monday. Earlier to this, Charmme Kaur was summoned by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Telangana Excise and Prohibitions Department investigating the drug case. She is likely to appear before the SIT on July 26.

In her petition, Charmme has requested that only women officials should question her and that the questioning should be done in presence of her lawyers. She has also asked the officials not to ask questions related to her personal life.

She also requested the High Court that her blood, nail and hair samples should not be taken during the questioning without her permission.

The 30-year-old Charmme made her acting debut in the 2002 and has worked in more than 40 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam.

She starred in the Hindi movie Buddha Hoga Tera Baap alongside Amitabh Bachchan. Charmme also acted in Zila Ghaziabad and also featured in the song Gandi Baat in R…Rajkumar.

She won the Nandi Best Actor Award in 2007 for the film Mantra and Nandi Best Special Jury Award for Mangala in 2012.
