Justice Ahmad to take oath as CJ today

Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed will on Saturday take over new as Chief Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court.

Governor N N Vohra will administer the oath of office to Ahmad  at 2 pm in Jammu.

President of India has already appointed the Delhi High Court Judge, Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed as the Chief Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.

Justice Ahmed was enrolled as an Advocate on 5.9.1980 with the Bar Council of Delhi and started his practice in the Supreme Court of India and Delhi High Court.
