Mumbai: Man arrested for touching himself in front of minor

Mumbai: A man was arrested in Mumbai for allegedly touching himself inappropriately in front of a minor. The accused works as a tailor. The four-year-old boy shared the incident with his family, after which they approached the police. The arrest was made on Tuesday, June 4.
The complaint against the accused was lodged at the Bandra police station. The alleged incident took place when the minor was playing outside the accused’s shop.
The incident came to light when the minor ran to his house and had a conversation with his uncle. The minor told his uncle that he was angry with the accused and wanted to hit him. The minor eventually shared the incident with his family.
Following this, the minor’s mother approached the police and lodged a complaint. The accused was booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
In another incident, a Pune-based dance teacher was accused of sexually harassing two minor girls. The incident came to light in January. The accused was arrested by the Hadaspur police. The complaint was lodged by a 13-year-old girl with the help of a non-governmental organisation (NGO).
